Wissahickon Charter School          $1682  Grant is to address 2 issues.  Firstly, to build a set of noise reduction barriers to block traffic noise in order to make an existing native plant rain garden a more usable outdoor classroom.  Secondly, to run material along existing fence to block litter from blowing into the garden/class space.

2015 East Falls Grants Program

Applications for Grants for the 2015 year is now closed.  Thank you to all that participated.

Do you have a favorite project, a service, a program, a vision, a need you’ve been thinking about that will benefit East Falls?  Do you need some financial help to bring it to life? Well, do we have a deal for you!!  The East Falls Community Council makes grants available to individuals and organizations with projects that benefit the East Falls Community.

 

Source of Funds 

Aside from providing a great excuse to have a wonderful time playing in our own back yard, the Flea Market and the Fall Festival help provide funds for our Grants Program. The funds raised go back into the East Falls community through the grants process. 

Process

Completion of the application in full is required. Please contact Heather Plastaras, Chair of the Committee, at 773-580-3879 or via email at grants@eastfallscommunity.org if you have any questions.  Please remember to fully complete the application or it will not be considered. 

Deadline 

All applications should be postmarked no later than April 10, 2015 to the address provided on the grant application.

Accountability 

The East Falls Community Council expects to receive an accounting of its grants from the recipients and a final report outlining the results of the project, including copies of receipts. The report and accounting must be provided within 60 days of completion of the project but no later than October 31st 2015.  Timely compliance is a requirement for future grant consideration.

Awards 

The final award recommendations of the EFCC Grant Committee will be announced at the East Falls Community Council General Membership Meeting in May 2015.
