Many Thanks...to City Councilman Curtis Jones Jr. and Mark Focht, First Deputy Commissioner from Parks & Recreation for their generous support regarding a safety surface around the Turtle in McMichael Park. The " green cushion" was installed on 11-11-11 putting children's safety in the forefront. Turtle has recently seen children, and their parents jumping on the rubberized surface. Have fun!
