Jan. 2010...

The Friends Of McMichael Park received a grant from the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts along with Peco Energy and the Philadelphia Cultural Alliance.  The matching grant will be used to produce a  live outdoor theater in the Park which is open to the public and promotes education and community spirit. 

    Attending the check presentation ceremony, (pictured left to right) are State Representative, Michael Gerber, (Montgomery County) and Friends of McMIchael Park, Rich Lampert, Deborah Thorpe, Alexis Franklin, Cynthia Kishinchand, and John-david Franklin. 

Lovelights in McMichael Park...an annual event started in 1999. Friends can purchase a light for someone special in their lives.  Acknowledgements are supported by the local newspaper, The Fallser.
