East Falls Village, an initiative of the Community Council, is an innovative organization established to enhance the lives of residents in the East Falls neighborhood of Philadelphia as they grow older. It is not a “place,” but a volunteer-driven organization that provides support, services, and programs that enable members to live healthy and meaningful lives in their own homes. East Falls Village is designed to meet  a wide range of needs, a “one stop shopping” approach to facilitate remaining in the community by providing or connecting people to everything from social life, exercise, and wellness education to home maintenance, assisted living, and skilled nursing care.
